Mucas + Training = PRAY FOR ME

So i am debating about how my day is going to go tomorrow. Becasue i dont see how in the world am i going to run four miles, and attend two spinning classes. Im going to just go with the flow and see how my day goes. I went home early and got some rest and am about to do some serious TheraFlu treatments for my nody. The other problem i ave is that im not hungry so this is why i need my body to get this together . I got only a few more weeks before my race. SO PRAY!!!

IM GOIN DOWN...AND LOVING IT

So i was unable to go to spinning this morning so i was feeling down and decided to jump on the scale and see what my weight was.....DOWN 51 LBS AND COUNTING. I was so excited to see that i had passed the 50lb mark!!!!
Even with more then 5 weeks to go till my first official 1/2 marathon i am ubber excited at the changes that my body has seen. I am even ready to sign up for my next on. Next weekend i will be taking another set of my TEAM in Traing photos so i will be adding them on my website for you guys to see.

HEAT+EXERCISE=SWEAT

So today i had two spinning classes and a 4 mile run. So i am tired and ready to hit the hay...just wanted to put a post in about my day. So went i went to my 5pm spinning class the air was all crazy so once again i was sweating like crazy but i also finished my entire water bottle and had to fill my up during class. Plus i decided to actually run on a incline(only last half a mile out of four) and man was my calves buring. So now i know that its time for me to make sure i drink an entire bottlw and stay hydrated wheni am at work, so when it comes time for the gym after work im not getting dehydrated at all. i am a RUNNER


I am a runner...thats what i had to keep telling myself every mile that i have ran so far. I mean it gets hard to run especially when you were never a runner you had to become a runner. So from now on i am working on becoming the best runner that my body will allow me to be. So of course after running all these miles my shoes decided to die on Thursday so FRIDAY after work i had to buy myself another pair of sneakers and what did I come across but the best shirt for my training to push me to race day.
MY TRAINING IS DELICIOUS!!!!

RELAX! CARROLWOOD


So this past Sunday i treated myself to a massage and Man O' Man was it truely needed. So i took myself right over to Relax!Carrolwood in Tampa. When i frist walked in i was greated by the neutral color theme and the sounds of nature. Now if anyone knows me i like detail, so i loved that all of the magazines were about heath and wellness instead of gossip and fashion. But outside of the decor i truly loved that i was overloaded with all of this "NEW AGE" stuff.
So after going back in the room i decided upon getting a SPORTS MASSAGE after all the hardwork and miles that i have been putting in. So while trying to stay awake...i think i checked out three times during the hour massage i recieved a combo of deep tissue and then intensive stretching by Shannon. Relax! www.relaxtampa.com describes my massage as Utilizes specific strokes and stretches to help obtain maximum performance and physical conditioning. Used as part of pre-event prep or to reduce post-event recovery. Can help to increase flexibility, reduce fatigue, improve enduarnce, and reduce chance of injury.
I would go back again and am looking forward to going there again next month and after i run my 1/2 marathon...cuz i have gotta try the HOT STONES MASSAGE...so if you go and check it out let me know.

IS THAT SWEAT!!!

So I love to workout, but i dont like to sweat. Yes i know this sounds extremely stupid. So today i was taken a back when my body decided not only to have sweat pour down my arms while i was running, but when i got into my spin class it got CRAZY! Lana the instructor took this to LEVEL 12...i had sweat literaly pouring down my face. My poor little bandana was soaked to the point that i had sweat dripping from the ties on my bandana.But the best part of this day was to when i finally came home to the lovely hot bath.

BACK TO THE SHOW IN PROGRESS


So i am back to my working out grind. After two days off out of a five day workout week i am finally ready to get this thing started again. So of course my day is gonna start with a 5:30am spinning class next i go to work for 8 hours then i head back to my second home Ballys and i run 4 miles and do a 45minute spining class. Oh did i forget i gotta swing by church on my way home and pratice for a dance for church...man now i wished i didnt take that nap cuz i am gonna need all the rest i can get. But anyways, GYM BAG PACK & LUNCH TAKEN OUT...GOOD NIGHT YALL!!!

IT AINT THAT BAD


So today i woke up knowing that i didnt run 5 miles on friday, but knew i was going to run my 4 miles today. Why, you may ask...BECAUSE MY CONFIRMATION FOR M 1/2 MARATHON CAME TODAY!!!! I have a BIB NUMBER and everything so that means that i am running this race for real. Besides having the race confirmation number I also have my plane ticket to Vnacouver. I get in around fve and plan on seeing as much as i can see (SHOPPING) on Friday when I get in and then going to do some real tourist stuff on Saturday. So that keep me EXTREMELY motivated today as i ran everymile today YES ALL 4 OF THEM. This will truly be the motivation until i cross that finish line on May 2,2010.

if u fall off get back on!!!!

So today i did no running or working out....i officil took this as a rest day....SO THAT MEANS I GOT FIVE MILES TO RUN before my polish change, fill for my nails and eyebrow thread appt all before I go to pratice at church tomorrow.CRAZY yes but this is how i fill my days. The rest was much needed and i appreciate it whenever i have a day off...so i took my guilt free eating day today. Meaning i officially had my Easter candy and some Chick-fil-a.

RUN over Rise


Noooooo I not coming up with a new math term...Brandi...THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I CHOOSE TO RUN OVER SLEEPING. So this morning when i woke up at seven am i decided to run 10 miles...it ended up being 9.73 but hey i had to get reaady for churh...and it was so much fun. I never am in any pain or sore when i run then go to church. Its like God sets aside the pain and allows me to do what i need to do, which is run and be refreash to go to service afterwards.

GUESS WHO BACK


So im back to blogging about my races and I am doing better then ever. I finally signed up to RUN A 1/2 MARATHON thru TEAM in Training and the race in in Vancouver, Canada on May 2, 2010. This time training is going great and i am starting to like the gym and maybe running.

So Today i got to meet the members of my Canadian Team and they are sooooo sweet. Thye said i can become an unofficial Canadian that weekend and they are going to make sure I load up on all things CANADA....YES!!!!

So its off to bed got 10 miles in the morning...and then its time to PRAISE THE LORD...
