I feel it NOW!!!!

Chalean Extreme - Workout DVD
Yesterday was my first day doing the ChaLean Extreme workout dvds....Chalean Extreme - Workout DVDyes I am only at Day 1. So what does that mean I am feeling the burn today. Not only are my arms burning all day long but as soon as I went to my to my spinning class at Ballys...YES I WENT TO SPINNING TODAY...I can feel it in my legs. It wasn't that bad but after doing the cardio today and the weights yesterday I can definitely feel the burn right now as I am typing this post. My first review of the program is that it really is very good and i like how she keeps you motivated and make sure that you are keeping up with your form during the whole set of exercises.


So what do you do on Tuesday after going to the work and then hitting up the gym....DUH....YOU WATCH THE FINALLY OF BIGGEST LOSER. So if you follow me on twitter you will be reading all of my crazy tweets because this will drive me crazy until i see shay step on the scale and also to see who wins. So I am gonna say peace out and TV ON. Because i am watch this until i get to see SHAY!!!!

Weekend Recap

So i just finished my first week and i am back down to my 1/ 2 marathon weight...so that means that the three lbs i gained after my half is gone. This week IM GOING IN...yes like Weezy. But first lets talk bout the weekend.
Again i went and pick blueberries because that is what you do when you are loving the country and i am all about the country these days. So i woke up on Saturday and headed over to the u-pick farm which is also a winery. (http://www.keelandcurleywinery.com/) Then me and my friend Tashicka (on her birthday
) spent about an hour picking blueberries. This time i knew where to go in the fields and we ended up each picking around five lbs each on the course of this trip. And of course I am going to use my blueberries to make pancakes for my students when we have a pancake breakfast. That pretty much was my entire morning .

Then I headed over to Walmart to get my hair pressed and trimmed and yes i knew that i was going to be there for a long time but apparently i was there for 3 hours. All this to make sure that i am taking care of my hair...UGGGHH. But anyways also while i was there I got to get my autograph and picture taken Channing Crowder of the Miami Dolphins...I wasn't going to get my picture taken but then i remember he paid for many SHOTS i drank while i was in college my Senior year...lol...so this autograph will go on my wall of pictures and memorabilia that i keep inside of my classroom behind my desk. My students love to walk over to the wall and pick out pictures and stuff that i have all over my wall. So of course after the "fan" session I went over and got this hair handled. This guy must have know what he was dealing with because i didn't walk out of Walmart the way that i walked in to Walmart on Causeway that day. So after living at WalMart I went home and cleaned and then just rested up and decided i will save the rest for the next day.

Woke up really early on Sunday and took my time to get ready that day. That day I also noticed how much smaller my face is. I mean i noticed from my passport picture to now but i noticed that from the beginning of this year to now my face is smaller. Also i have noticed that my shoes are getting bigger and i have been buying some more size 8 1/2.  SMH....I CANT LOSE MY SHOE COLLECTION OF ALL SIZE 9 SHOES...any ways i just wanted to sign out and leave a pic of how cute i looked on Sunday!!!!

TGIF

SO ITS FRIDAY AND WE AINT GOT ISH TO DO....well i did and now it is finally time to unwind. I went to the mall and got my eyebrows threaded by Lash Art....i love the feeling I get whenever I get my eyelashes threaded. Then I headed over to my nail peeps at Kingdom Nails and Lein(Lynn) did my pedicure soooooo needed and my overlay. This is the first time i have ever gotten it done and i am really liking it.
Today was/is Day 5 and what i decided to do for dinner....have my weekly CHEAT MEAL. I know I said I wasnt going to do them but then i realized today this is the meal that I look forward to every week its the meal that gets me thru the next week. So of course i decided to do it up....
PUBLIX BOARS HEAD SUB ON WHEAT and to top it off i ran over to the Redbox.
                           
So tonight im making it  a DINNER & MOVIE NIGHT ....LOVING IT !!!

AWWWWWW

So today i breathe...i didnt breathe because i couldn't i breathe becasue i could. So today I finally am in the groove of things and am looking forward to picking some berries this weekend. Why becasue I for some reason i have fallen in love with picking fruit and soon to be veggies. I just wanted to stop by and do a little update. I have to go pack my meals for tomorrow...ALL 5 OF THEM Looking forward to day 14 which is ten days from now. But i am even looking forward to start exercising on DAY 7.

HE'S DANCING ALL OVER MY RIBS

So right now Hungry is doing the TANGO all over my stomach....
Yes im talking about that little orange man that Weight Watchers talks about that makes you want to give into the cravings.  Well right now he is dancing on my stomach throwing donuts at me. About 15mins ago he was dancing in the corner of my bedroom trying to get me to call China Wok and order a lunch special before 3:30pm. I always tell myself if you can make it to 3:30pm then your good. 
Today is mid-day on day three and I am struggling with the daytime, cuz some how when the sunsets i am sooooo cool and after dinner i am GREAT. This is the most strict of the meal plan I am ever going to be on, and I know that this may be extremely had for me because I have never really dieted since I started to Eat Clean and work on running a half-marathon. So I know this is not going to be easy at all for me...but with God i am going to make



SN: NINE WEST IS HAVING A SECRET SAL FOR NINE HOURS....WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME WHEN YOU KNOW I GAVE UP SHOPPING FOR 60 DAYS.... :)

OH MAN-O-MAN did I just see an Old Navy commerical that just said that Saturday is $1 flip flop day...i need everyone to not only go and head out to Old Navy but i also need ou to pick up a pair in size 9 in any color....I AINT PICKY.. http://oldnavy.gap.com/

DR. DRE!!!!

TODAY WAS A GOOD DAY. So Day 2 is surprisly going way better then i had expected. I decided to not workout during the first week of Cooler 1 of The Clean Eat Diet Book. Starting next week Monday I will work on having a wonderful time WORKING OUT...okay so it may not be wonderful since starting next week i would have been exerciseless (is that even a word) for the past three weeks. So I am expecting for this DVD and the instructors for my spinnning class to kick my but. It will make it all the worth wild when i get to actually slide my body into that dress that i brought and also but me so shoe and show off just two weeks of work at my friends SEX IN THE CITY BDAY BASH....yes i am hyped about an outfit and a movie...DONT JUDGE ME. Besides outsie of those shoes, the next thing that i will be heading to the mall for is my graduation outfit, and lets be honest i already have the skirt and shoes...so its just me find a top....once again....DONT JUDGE ME. I
So with all these things running along in my head i am going to work on getting myself a nice few days of exercise freedom and concentrate on living a life of PURPOSE. Which as for right now is being a teacher, homeowner, and graduate.

STEP BY STEP

So apparently the way to healthy living is won 1 step at a time. So right now i am taking baby steps. Day 1 is finished and now i am getting my meals ready for day 2. So of course I needed to blog to yall about my feeling thru out the day and how did i even just finish my day. So i was doing really good until about 45 mins before lunch. This was because my para was eating her lunch that smelled sooooooo good. I mean she was eating ribs and i wanted to ask her for a taste, which would have seemed okay, but i dont eat RED MEAT. So then it got even worst cuz she wiped out a nutta butta and started to eat that joker...YES A NUTTA BUTTA. So of course i was sucking my water down so i would stop thinking about that dang bar of peanut butter.

I also made another decision to give up shopping for these thirty days and man-o-man all i could think about was going shoe shopping. I really need to work on not shopping since i feel like i am spending money and not getting the chance to actually wear the clothes because i dont even get to wear them before they are no longer fitting. I mean i should be excited but i literally cried when i gave away my clothes last month, and i may even break down at the end of the summer when i clear out my closet. See this way i will be able to tear the mall up when August rolls around and i go shopping for the new school year. YES TEACHER BACK 2 SCHOOL SHOP...well at least i do...DONT JUDGE ME...GOOD NIGHT YALL

IM BACK

So over the pass month and a half I have:

1.) Met my Fundraising Goal
2.) Signed up for Another 1/2 Marathon
3.) Ran my first 1/2 Marathon











But this is just the beginning of my journey to living a healthy lifestyle. During this crazy process of 9 months i shed a total of 51lbs.....YES I SAID 51LBS...so what is a girl to do but start up a second phase of this fitness journey which is going to be titled "OHLETSDOIT" yes from that famous poet Mr. Wacka Flaka Flame...lol..OKAY that was hard to do with a straight face but it is what this journey is going to be called.
So I always talk about eating clean and about the author Tosca Reno, the writer of the "Eat Clean Diet" book, which i like to say is not a diet but rather a way to live. This however will be the first time that i will be following the cooler 1 plan since i just go with the regular cooler 2 plan. So for the next 14 days i will be eating like i have never eaten before. But no only will i be eating completly clean i am also going to start eating with organic meats. So 14 days from now will be my first post about how much weight i have lost, bu every day i will be posting about what i ate, how i felt, and also post pictures of my meals and my day.
Now as far as diet i will be eating clean, but because i have signed up for another 1/2 marathon i will be logging some serious miles on the road and the treadmill. I am also going to be doing the ChaLean Extreme workout system for 60 days so i will like to see the results that my body is able to give me on day 61.
